New Directors

A big bit of Chord news: Simon Bentley, Fred Stannard and Alex Skidmore have all been promoted to Director.

Chord has changed considerably since opening its doors three years ago. We’re now a team of 29 people working across Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Malaga, with bigger projects, broader expertise and plenty of ambition for what comes next.

Simon, Fred and Alex have each played an important role in making that growth possible. Their new positions recognise the leadership they already bring to projects, client relationships and the wider team.

Simon said:

“When I joined Chord, I knew it was different – the kind of place where ideas matter more than egos, and people genuinely care about getting things right.”

That remains central to how we want Chord to develop. Growth is important, but so is building a business where talented people can contribute ideas, take ownership and progress without losing the culture that brought us together in the first place.

The Director titles may be new, but the leadership behind them is already well established. We’re told it’s a very serious job title, although we’ll reserve judgement until we’ve seen the three of them behave accordingly.

Congratulations to Simon, Fred and Alex. It’s a proud moment for Chord and an important step in the next stage of the business.
